the military or whatever want to keep hidden or they don't want it exposed so to get there quite often as you say you go through discomfort you can't it's not an easy walk and sometimes it is easier to take the the easier just leave that i'm gonna go it's too hard i'm not doing that but i think you get more from a situation if you go through that i'd rather not and

There's been times that I've had to really reach down deep to get through a situation.
And, you know, Petra, I didn't realise it until โ because, listen, you've been in โ you know how we work.
We lurch from story to story to story.
And, yes, I take people โ I remember people and I take them along.
But you go from one situation to another.
And, yeah, I just โ
It was when I was writing it and I thought, heck, you know, oh my gosh, there's so much in here that I had forgotten about.
In fact, I re-traumatised myself in some of the situations rewriting, you know, writing about stuff.
You know, the Fiji, like, you know, when I was locked up in the detention centre.
Yeah.
I hadn't managed to hide my phone.
So I hadn't had my phone taken off me.
So the minute we got into the detention centre, it was one of those, it's like a big double-storied house and building and, you know, the metal grate doors, you know, gates opened.
And so I'd made sure I had my phone.
So then when I got up, they took me upstairs and it was all these rooms.
