Like there have been times where parents still have questions and well, maybe we'll both have a question about something.

Um, like you said, you know, first and second grade are very pivotal important years and most kids are typically identified, at least in my experience, in first grade or second grade as where an IEP is put in place.
But there have been times where teachers will in second grade or um you know perhaps even third grade will identify new behaviors that maybe
were not did not stand out as much in kindergarten or first grade.
Like you mentioned, it
in kindergarten and first grade, some behaviors may just seem like a child is maturing a little bit later than their peers.
But by that second and third grade age, you can really see what is typical and what may not be as typical.
So if that does happen, thankfully, like I um like I've said, my district has system space where as a classroom teacher I can I can share what my observations and
I would need to keep detailed logs and act data on things that I observe.
And then there's there would be a process where somebody else would come in and observe and
And if if it needs a C then they would continue along that evaluation process.
But usually second grade is like the year.
Where where a lot of those IEPs are put into place.
So it just depends, but most schools have
Or should have good systems in place so that the classroom teacher feels comfortable reaching out to the right people if they do notice things that are atypical.
