I could get hold of him whenever something went wrong.
He would have amazing advice.
He would always sort of, when I wasn't keen on stuff, like the amount of times I'd get sent to hospital and I'd have to pack my go bag, as Alicia calls it, and I was like, oh, not again.
So I rock up with my little wheelie bag to hospital, ready for another little stay in the White Palace.
But yeah, it's been a ride, guys.
It's been an absolute ride.
It was actually Maddy who helped me come up with this.
And we called it Becky's Battle of the Cancer.
And that was my Instagram that we set up.
And it was straight away, I just wanted people to...
To see what had happened to me, how I didn't see it coming, and to create some awareness and that this could happen to anyone.
It's not, bowel cancer is not something for old people, not anymore anyway.
It's, and the fact that we don't get screened until we're so much older and people actually need it younger.
It's getting, like, I can't get over the age of,
of people getting bowel cancer now.
It's rampant.
It's absolutely rampant.
And for me, I just knew straight away I wanted to be able to, and it's probably the teacher in me, I wanted to be able to educate.
I wanted to be able to share my journey.
