So when I found out that I had cancer, I didn't go, well, of course I did.
I went, oh, poor me.
But I went, no, you've still got to get on with your life and you've got to nail stuff and you've got to have goals because you've really lost your sense of purpose.
And that's a really big thing.
Like, all of a sudden, I'm an unemployed, single mum on the benefit.
I've never, like, for me, that's huge.
That's my identity, kind of.
My identity went, where's Becky the teacher?
She's kind of gone because she's not doing that anymore.
And it was quite...
I just, there must be so many people that end up in that boat, like whether it's cancer, whether it's losing a job, whether it's a relationship breakdown, it doesn't matter what it is.
It's, we all feel the same feels and the context might be different, but we're all, people go through the same feelings and we become sort of, we can get down and out.
And I wanted to show people that
we can get through that.
Like, yes, you get in the pit.
You end up in that pit, but we can get out of it.
And so for me, that's been huge.
And when you said to me earlier, talking about what people say to you, this has just triggered something for me.
