Well, it's a little bit sad too because I'm actually wearing, I've got my stolen girlfriend's ring on and this is the three of us.

So there was myself, my friend Jackie Robertson, and she was diagnosed two months prior to me with bowel cancer.

I didn't know her.

I'd met her randomly in the rowing circles like years and years and years and years ago.

And then...

someone said, you need to reach out to Jackie because Jackie's going through the same stuff as what you are.

And I went, oh, okay.

So I reached out to her on Facebook or something and said, hey, introduced myself, talked about what was going on with me.
