She has kicked cancer's ass and she's now cancer-free, which is amazing.

Sadly, we lost Jackie at the beginning of this year.

1st of March, she passed away and that was really confronting because that was a real down, like...

downhill, she went downhill really quick and then she wasn't seeing people and we'd always been really really tight, Kirsten and Jackie and I and I think she wanted to protect us but we went to try and see her at hospice and we couldn't because she was not wanting to see people and stuff and then I was down in Christchurch I'd gone to Electric Ave and I got the news that she'd passed and going to her funeral Kirsten and I were there together at her funeral and

got me to a point which has made me want to take control of my own funeral as well and do some planning because Jackie, they had to hack into all of her stuff.

She'd left nothing behind, no clues of passwords.

No one could get into her phone.

Everyone was like...

Blimey, Jackie, you knew you had something going on.

Couldn't you have made our life a little bit easier?

So, yeah, so that was pretty sad to lose Jackie.

But that group, and we've still got our little group, and Kirsten and I keep it going strong.

And on behalf of Jackie, because she was a real warrior in the space, fighting for bowel cancer and everything.

trying to get the screening age lowered and she was a real advocate.

And her and I did like a woman's day, spread together and stuff, trying to raise awareness.

And yeah, the Cancer Crushers will always be a real special, special, special group.

And our little rings are like a little, I look at it all the time and I'm like, I think of Jackie and I think of Kirsten and I'm like, shit, girls, we've been through a lot.

Like, so important.

So important to have people that are going through the experience and walking, because people can't understand.
