And we looked and we looked around and we saw Don Rowland Centre.
It's like, what about here?
And I've been to two beautiful funerals out there for really cool people.
One that someone that went way too soon, which was a young boy that I didn't actually teach at St.
Peter's, but I had a lot to do with, Hugo Shaw, amazing kid.
There's actually a street named after him in Cambridge.
And we had his funeral there.
And then another gentleman, Gil Kaywood, who was one of my dad's mentors and has been like a granddad to me almost.
He's known me all my life.
And I went, that's really fitting.
Like that, okay, cool.
So we nailed off, we actually had a wine, looked out over the lake,
started making notes, had a lot of laughs, talked about cool things we could do.
And I'm kind of someone who's not super traditional either.
Like I was like, I don't want any gaudy funeral flowers and I want people to cry because I want them to be sad, but I want them to laugh at the same time.
And it was like, okay, cool.
So we kind of got the ball rolling that way.
And then she got me in touch with
a really cool funeral director who's definitely my cup of tea as well, Ricky, from Ana Maria Funeral Homes.
And then we had a meeting with her and I went and picked out my coffin.
