It became this thing that then the whole cult would watch and just, I could feel everyone watching me as I would walk up to him and it's terrifying.
Like I was already terrified of him, but then like knowing, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I was little.
And so then I remember one day we had a barbecue all together.
All of a sudden, I feel like there must've been some discussion obviously that I wasn't privy to and my parents probably knew what was going to happen.
He grabs my hand and he takes me off into the forest, essentially, like the pine forest that's bordering where we were having our barbecue.
And I'm so confused about what's happening.
I immediately start crying because I'm like, he's just grabbed my hand and ripped me into the forest.
And he says to me, he's like, I'm not taking you back to your parents until you say hello to me properly.
And I'm snot sobbing.
Like, I'm just like, I can't breathe.
I'm hyperventilating.
I'm like, as a little kid, you think that's a real threat.
No one stood up for me.
No one's been like, actually, you know what?
This makes me feel really uncomfortable.
This isn't okay.
Everyone's just very sort of like, yep, she needs to have, you know, she needs to learn her lesson.
And eventually after I don't know how long, you know, when you're a kid, time goes on forever.
It was probably pretty soon.
