But first, I'm going to share today's scripture with you and a story.
And then the helpful and educational part of this episode is going to make a lot of sense.
So our verse for today is Matthew chapter 28, verse 11.
Jesus says, come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
I'm just going to say that again.
And I want you to hear Jesus saying this to you right now.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
So if you have ever been on a plane ride, this is for whether you've had children and you're trying to conceive or you have never had a child and you're trying to conceive.
We've all been on a plane at some point in our lives, and maybe we've gotten to hear, and maybe we've even gotten to observe.
I just want you to picture a one-year-old on a plane with its mom, okay?
And this one-year-old is having a hard time.
They're screaming, they're fussing.
The mom knows that, oh my gosh, my kid is, he's tired, he's scared, he's overstimulated, he's overwhelmed, but there's nowhere to go.
And this baby knows that they're not in their normal and safe place for rest.
They're not in their home.
They're not in their room.
They're not in their crib.
And they are petrified.
Like everything feels scary and it feels unknown.
