This study, though, has looked at 10 of the most common IVF add-ons.
They've actually looked at 85 medical trials, and it's worth noting that they scratched a lot of the trials.
They didn't include them because they were not trustworthy trials, and they weren't large enough, so there were questions about the reliability of the data.

They've scratched or removed approximately half of all of the trials that were potentially eligible to be included.
How interesting.

They've compared them to no treatment or placebo in people who are undergoing IVF.
Their primary outcome, the thing that they've looked at, is really live birth, so successful, viable pregnancy.
The key takeaway is that most of the add-ons don't appear to improve the chance of a pregnancy and having a baby.
So I think it's worth pointing out that authors have said that there needs to be larger trials, more randomized controlled trials in this space.
