Okay, um, yeah, there was this family that we used to know when we lived on the other side of Kenilworth, on the Brooloo side.

And I think this was back in about 95 or 95 or 96, and we were having like a

like some type of a big gathering at our place with lots of families.

And anyway, there's this particular family and they had a boy that was about 14 and two girls.

And not too long after that, we sort of just stopped seeing much of that family and I don't really know what happened.

But going all the way through to 2001 when I told you like we'd moved to Brisbane and

there was a time when they did come to visit me in Brisbane.

And so by this time, the 14, 15-year-old kid is like a young man.

And he and I had opportunity to just have a conversation.

And he said to me, do you remember that big gathering at your place way back when, whatever?

And he said, well, Gus actually took me off for a walk and he abused me on that day.

And he said, my life just spiraled from then, just out of control.

I dropped out of school and all sorts of things.

And it was like actually one of the hardest things for me to hear.

And as soon as they'd left, I'm pretty sure I just went into the bathroom and just started dry reaching and throwing up.

And then the other thing, like, I guess I didn't hear of them for a really long time.

And then there was a particular time, I think one time I found him on Facebook and I messaged him just asking if he was going to ever do anything about it.
