Hyper politics is adjacent to or maybe the reason why there is this like huge prevalence of people feeling numb in terms of the world and maybe why we have an empathy crisis.

Especially for younger people, it's easy to rely on activist shortcuts, thinking that a fleeting Instagram post or something will amount to any change.
And sure, awareness...
is like a step but it really doesn't and this like goes for both once again this like applies to both political parties where this phenomenon is happening like um a whole lot of bark but no bite um but specifically with conservatives i do think they have like the edge um and is and it's why they're like dominating so many political battlegrounds because they i feel like they somewhat have a hankering for making clubs in the same way that like a bunch of like
like old conservative people will like they love the fuck out of being part of like a country club same thing applies i think it feels like spiritually the same as them making like a project 2025 and specifically with like project 2025 like that was something everyone was very aware of there was like tick tocks uh like with like three million likes um when it was first announced of like people on the left being like
Um, we need to do something about this.
Like this is the plans.
It was literally like they have made this organization.
What is it?
The American organization or preservation society, something like that.
They're like, these are their plans.
They are going to implement them in 2026.
And everyone knew about it and no one did anything.
There was no rival to that that formed out of the left or out of leftist spaces or neoliberal spaces at all to counter that.
And then what happened when the election came around?
All of those things got implemented.
So.
I guess that's like maybe an anecdotal example of how I mean, I guess it's a little bit more split like left right Lee but um Like we there was just no there was no counter to it.
