Well, that's really funny to blame your parents.

Yeah.

My parents are in a situation right now.

So I just followed suit.

My mom doesn't know where she stands with my dad.

And that's just something I've been mimicking.

Yeah, I have an Achilles injury, so I'm not sure if I'm ready for a girlfriend right now.

She brought up a good point about like someone saying, oh, we're just friends.

I'm like, my friends are honest with me, open.

They don't ghost.

They don't ignore me for days on end.

So this using the word friend for whatever a situation ship is, is so like insane to me.

Is that true?

I look, I'm maybe unhelpful because I have been in all of these relationships.

I have been the person who has been like, I am ready.

And the girls have been like, I'm not sort of there yet.

So when I when I heard that there was like a cultural idea that women are just the ones who are ready for the relationship once you get close enough to them, that like set me up for failure so often.
