He's probably going to be in a team that's towards the lower half of the table.
And when a manager gets sacked in the lower half of the table in a championship, it is quite often for a more pragmatic manager.
That's the last thing I want to see Andrew Moran play football in.
I want to see Andrew Moran play football on a team that's attacking technical football and where he's going to learn that technical side of the game.
how to apply it to matches more on the training ground I'd love to see him go to the Netherlands or to Germany I know we always call these leagues the type of leagues that we'd love to see Irish players move to but I just think move away from England and try a different side of football in Europe I think maybe permanently that's absolutely the best scenario I think going over the Europe and the continent and
this is crunch time and we'll put him in now as opposed to at the very beginning but I think long term I would like to see him across the continent but I wouldn't be against six months in the championship I don't think it'll do him any harm regardless of how well or badly it goes I think the championship boat has sailed as in in terms of we've seen what's happened there and it's happened twice now at two clubs and that is the key element I speak of if a manager goes that's happened to him twice now it happened at Blackburn as well
managers can go on a continent too though managers can go on a continent but it's my point is when it happens in the championship it's very often the manager is gone your team is in trouble and a pragmatic manager comes in and it's exactly what happened at Blackburn as well when John Don Thompson left he fell out of the team Mark Robbins isn't a pragmatic manager though and he didn't really have too much interest in what Andrew Morne had to offer so I think it's just totally circumstantial
Who's next on your list, Ben?
Alex Murphy.
I don't know if he's across the board, but I didn't think I'd be the only young man from Galway.
That's an excellent show.
Yeah, I agree with Geroge there.
Basically, my reason for having him down is that he's 21 now.
He's going to be 22 this year.
He's only made two appearances since joining Newcastle three years ago.
and it's a Newcastle defence that in the last couple of months has been absolutely ravaged with injuries and they've gone Lewis Hall came back which was quite untimely but Lewis Miley has ended up playing right full he's the only other full back in the team like he's on the bench and he's not coming on he's made two appearances in three years since being there I know he did a loan spell I think Bolton the last year or the season before I'd love to see him go on another loan preferably to the Championship
and test yourself at a higher level yeah he proved himself at Bolton that he's I wouldn't say above that level but more than good enough to play at that level so the logical next step is to go up yeah exactly and again like we said a position that has been a problem for us go get some games in this championship and cause a problem for Heimer Hall-Grimson great shout out David next on your list
saying that it's England or nowhere because I'm firmly not on that boat so Kevin O'Toole is my what's that third player on my list fourth player on my list I have gone for a name which you mentioned in your conversation there which is Will Ferry Captain of Dundee United near Farrouj obviously linked with a move up there I think it's time for Ferry to hop down the border again
and test myself.
Let's be real, the Championship is a much higher level than the Scottish Premier League outside of the top two clubs.
