It's a great privilege to come from a farming background, really, because you get to learn so many different things.

You get a bit of business.

You learn how to work with your hands.

You kind of learn every aspect of something.

So we've lots of hens coming over now, so we do.

When I was younger, I was kind of like taught of maybe doing a trade or electrician or plumber or that.

In school now, I was never good in school.

I'm dyslexic, so I am.

So I suppose I've looked into many different things over the times.

I was always trying to start.

I'd say my mother's head was wrecked with different ties and different business ideas.

So, yeah, the egg vending business was, I had initially thought, as I said, I knew I wanted to do something in business.

I had the idea of farm diversification in my head.

Then somebody said, why don't you look into egg vending machines?

And to be honest, I had only seen a couple of them beforehand.

I applied for a leader funding, which is government funded, and got a 50% grant for four more vending machines.

It's working out financially, yeah.

Like, God, yeah, I couldn't.

I can't deal with having to work off someone else's time at all or being told when or where to be.

So these hens here, they'll be enjoying the sunlight until 10 or half 10 tonight.
