So many people wanted this song.

And there was a lot of pressure from a lot of other people who wanted to give this song to other huge artists that wanted it, established artists at the time, like big, big artists that had number one records.

You know, she was only one part of the song.
And I remember I really went to bat for her because I said, A, she's never done that before.
She's never come to me like that.
B, she's really passionate about this.
And who am I to tell, like, these words just fell from her lips.
Like, it was something she was really going through.
