Munster have had a great season because they've qualified for the top and we're praising Ulster and we're praising Connacht and Connacht could still miss out in the Challenge Cup and that is theoretically correct but I think you have to... I think a lot of Munster fans and Munster players and Munster coaches would feel that it's been a stop-start, stuttery type of season and you can't forget...

you can't forget Exeter, you can't forget Cast at Home, or you can't forget... Sharks.

Sharks, and you can't forget Connacht away when the game was there to be won.

In fairness, they did the job on Saturday and had lots of reasons why...

you could excuse them, and they got it done, and that's really impressive, but you have to want consistency over the year, and for me, that's why we talk about them in a maybe negative way, and absolutely, Munster can do whatever they want in terms of listening to it, and they can look up Wikipedia about Ulster or whatever.

that's all great but the most the most positive thing for everybody involved in Irish rugby will be when Munster are back to where they were right and that's all like I get this point you know they have been criticised a lot for things but my personal opinion is that this doesn't need a review that's my personal opinion let's not stick the boot in if I thought it was a great thing I'd say it but I don't think it's really the answer to the problems there and

And again, I'm lucky enough to get the chance to talk to people who are close to it and they all feel it's not the right thing either.

So that's fine.

Everyone could be wrong and the right thing is to do it.

But the most important thing is that once you get a project,

and a sink again across the province with the clubs and sponsors and fans and players that they feel are going the right direction.

And unfortunately, maybe they're telling lies, but a lot of players don't feel they're going the right direction at the moment.

And Gleeson, yeah.

Gleeson was exceptional.

Look, if you were a Munster fan there, you'd be proud of that performance because everything was against them.

So much noise, poor performance the week before, no Jack Crowley, Ty Byrne injured, John Klein injured.

the Lions are improved side and the Lions had serious motivation to get performance and get points out of that game so everything was on the line they could never pull away but I think the most pleasing thing is obviously they made the top 8 that's huge and Casey was very

clear about the understanding of the responsibility they have for the rest of the of the of the staff the wider staff to get them into the top eight and and they did that and they bounced back from a poor performance against Conor really really well but I think it was the it was the likes of O'Brien it was the likes of O'Connell the likes of Gleeson we know Craig Casey can play like yeah and in fairness to him we know he he he's a man of Munster and and that means something to him

but it was those and probably over the last couple of weeks Andrew Smith for example who we're not sure about his future he has stepped up and certainly the talk around Munster is that this academy group or the guys just left academy like Gleeson and O'Connell they have big potential like they really rate them and
