That's the reality of it.

I mean, that was Ireland's sixth win in a row against Australia.

They have struggled.

They've had some one-off big wins.

They won in South Africa last year.

But in general, this Australian team, both as a national side and then obviously the players are playing super rugby.

They just haven't been getting over the line often enough, I think.

And you saw that there was opportunities to close out to win the game.

They fluffed those lines off.

And then there was just indiscipline in the middle third of the pitch, which gave Ireland lots of 22 entries.

And Ireland, as Joe Schmidt said afterwards, they're one of the best in the world at converting that into points.

But having said that, Australia looked to be much better.

And some of that was down to probably Ireland being a little bit off defensively.

We were very vulnerable, but they've got some really good runners in the back line.

They've got some nice shapes.

But they probably broke our line.

I think they made 11 line breaks way too easily.

And that's obviously an area that you... It's obviously an area that's usually quite good for Ireland.

And you would hope that with another week training, with everybody getting on the same page, getting into the Simon Easterby way of defending, we'll fix that.

So in some ways, it's hard to know our Australia...
