How can we assure ourselves that it's safe, consistent?

How will we detect where that could happen, where it does happen, how do we address it?

How do we resolve it?

So systems around all of that.

Now it's easier for a big organization like a Health Direct.

How can I assure myself?

That's the harder part, especially when you're not regulated, when there's a heap of other stuff you need to do to assure yourself that something is fit for purpose um to provide to the Australian community.

So I'm a big fan, I'm a big fan of Shadow IT, having worked in digital since kind of the nineties, where there used to be this ivory tower of IT and they decided what tools everyone used.

And then what happened primarily with BYAD devices, which were banned and outlawed.

D just got used because they were it was the obvious solution, but IT divisions were on the back foot.

So um

It's interesting to see, you know, Leon mentions shadow IT is an explicit commercial strategy.

I mean, if you look at Heidi, open evidence, um, even Chat GPT, um for clinicians, I think they call it, where they're actively saying, if your IT department hasn't signed this off, you can use it for free yourself.

they that's how they get growth and they live or die on the utility of the product because their real users are are paying for it.

So where I think it really works is tools to improve the efficiency of healthcare providers.

Would you want to use it for tools providers are recommending to consumers?
