I did the overdraft.
And what I did was I thought, I'm not going to kill myself here.
So I basically reduced it by £200 every month, like a soft closing down of the overdraft.
And...
oh it's it's an amazing feeling i've never gone back to it and yes we do have a credit card because i think everybody needs a credit card in in today's society all right i can't be trusted uh well the cash machine we have we do the uh you know the martin lewis we do it you know pay the whole balance every month
So, yeah, I don't have it on a direct debit.
I have to physically pay it.
Otherwise, it just takes the minimum payment and it's too tempting.
But, you know, I'm not going to sit here and say, oh, look at me, look at me, because I've got two incomes now.
I totally get it.
Never mind single parents.
Anyone who is single at the moment, living in a property, paying everything on their own, it's tough.
Bills are so high.
Yeah, I mean, the benefits system has changed.
So when you were little, after I'd had you, I couldn't rush straight back to work because I wasn't very well.
My plan was always just to, you know, get on with it, get out to work.
It didn't work like that for me.
I wasn't well.
