But I'm an actor.
I don't talk about my parents in therapy.
I talk about my agent.
You know what I mean?
Like I don't – I knew I had a really great childhood and that I was very lucky.
So I don't sit around thinking specifically or talking about them necessarily.
Yeah.
And also, it would be a little sad to constantly think about them and what they missed.
But the book gave me a reason to do that.
And although, of course, I've shed some tears about it, but for the most part, it has been such a comfort to spend time with them again.
You know, it's been very warm.
And it also kind of put me back in touch with this childlike sense of wonder I had about the world in general that we have as kids that we lose.
You know, my love of pop culture, my love of movies, of theater.
I still have it.
But, you know, when it becomes your business and your life, you know, it's different.
So it put me back in touch with all these really wonderful, warm parts of my childhood and also to now – because now the book has been out a little over a month.
So you never know what people are going to take away from the work you put out.
And I am just seeing comments and they're not about Billy on the Street.
The later parts of the book talk about my career and I had this friendship with Joan Rivers who was like a mentor to me and the celebrities I've worked with and all that stuff.
