You try and do that when the traffic conditions are varying on a daily basis and on an hourly basis is really, really difficult.

So the congestion is a significant issue for us.

So if you think about it as a driver and this is more pronounced in a post-pandemic world than it has been before.

So we traditionally timetable Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

And the timetable is the same Monday to Friday.

And the traffic conditions on Mondays and Fridays, not all the time, but invariably different than they are now Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

So our busiest days now for traffic congestion are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and much lighter on Mondays and Fridays.

But our drivers are still driving a schedule on a Monday that's the same as Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

So you could come out on a Monday to drive together and there's nothing in front of you.

Now we're having to slow our bus drivers down, right?

And what you will find from time to time is our bus drivers having to pull in and stop and wait.

And the whole idea of that is what drives you insane when you're on the bus is to try and make sure that you're on time for the customer who's downstream.

So when you're downstream from the bus, you're happy for them to be on time when you're on the bus.

Exactly.

So there's a frustration there for the customer.

But the whole idea of that is to try and keep yourself on time for the whole journey.

Now, what we're looking to do with the NTA is move away from Monday to Friday timetabling and have a different schedule and timetable for Monday and Friday as it is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

And we need to move towards that.

And the NTA, in fairness to them, when they look at the data with us, are starting to move in that direction, but we're not quite there yet.
