What I really love about Dublin Bust is a real family and community spirit in it.
And they really take great pride in delivering that service to our customers.
So, you know, we don't necessarily see it as being a heartache or grief.
We just get on with it and we do our best to improve our services.
Are you a resilient person?
I would say so.
Look, I've been in transport for the last 33 years.
You know, in the air traffic services side of it, there was a lot of pressure from a different perspective there.
In Dublin bus, there's a lot of pressure from a different perspective there.
So I would say resilience is part and parcel of my makeup.
Yeah, I suppose, you know, from a business to business point of view, look, there's no hiding behind in air traffic services.
You're always concerned about safety.
Now, that's not to say you're not on Dublin bus.
Of course you are.
But, you know, God forbid if there's a significant accident over the North Atlantic or an approach to Dublin Airport or Cork Airport, you know, it pricks the ears and it kind of makes you very, very tentative, you know.
So there was always sort of a tenseness.
around that business, albeit it's managed within an inch's life and it's an incredibly safe business.
When you work within it, there's still always, you know, a little bit of intensity around it.
You know, I suppose that's what keeps us on our toes and that's what keeps us fit.
Dealing with business to business was a little bit different than dealing with business to customer because, look, the business themselves, we were dealing with the airlines all the time, so they would bring their own grief and their own problems.
