The difference between the November riots and the fuel protests, we didn't pull them for the fuel protests.
We changed the service we were providing.
But for the November riots, we pulled our services across the whole network.
Largely, it was a simple decision at the end of the day.
We couldn't guarantee the safety of our employees or of our customers.
So that decision becomes easy then at that stage.
To go back to the question you asked, how do we get back into service?
Very, very rapidly, funny enough, once on Garda Síochána could give us the assurances that it was safe to now continue operations or put operations back into services.
Dublin bus employees will never be found wanton when it comes back to returning services like that.
They put the shoulder to the wheel and within a number of hours our services would be back up and running.
Is Dublin a racist city?
I wouldn't think so.
I think it's a much more cosmopolitan city.
Is there pockets of racism in Dublin City and every other city I've ever visited?
Possibly yes.
Our drivers experience it.
We have, I think we're up to maybe 92 or 97 different nationalities working in Dublin Bus.
