So at the same time that you've got these
pretty uh quick, rapid insights into the labour market coming from the labour force survey.
You've also got information that's coming through from administrative data, from payroll surveys that we run, a job vacancy survey and a range of other information.
So we we definitely have an eye for this information being the earliest read and the earliest signal that people are looking for in in understanding not just what's happening in the economy.
but also the experiences of people across the across the country.
Yeah, so we definitely control for that in the way that we produce our statistics.
Um and the reason have the
having two weeks rather than one week is really useful is for stuff like the hours that people work, that can be more changeable than whether or not people have a job and and whether they're employed.
So we uh uh collect the information and then we can control for those differences.
But also we're increasingly making this information available in new products so that people can actually drill in and do analysis looking at
the first week of of the month and the second week of the month.
We've got some information that we release as a as a microdata product for for researchers, so whether it's people at the Reserve Bank or
Um people that work in treasury departments at the Commonwealth government level or the state and territory government level, or a bunch of researchers.
And we're looking at ways of of making that data available to a a broader um group of users within the community.
And I it's definitely something that economists are really keen to explain.
So it is.
It's a very big sample and it's a representative sample.
Um if you if you're looking at the and we design it in a way where we're not only optimizing about the the best information about Australia, but also with an eye to the best information that we can produce for each of the states and territories, so for the eight jurisdictions in a in Australia.
Uh the estimates by age and sex continue to be uh really robust.
