We've now moved to a a model where we're we're doing kind of monthly and quarterly statistics from that administrative data.
But we're we've really only started to kind of scratch the surface of what we could do with administrative data.
So I mentioned before using some of the data together to produce new insights into regional economies, but the the potential for us to be able to use
use the really powerful administrative data together with really powerful high quality survey data is is really exciting.

I mean th this is always the the challenge.
If you're trying to understand the labour market, it's really easy for people just to to become fixated on these headline aggregates.
Now, across the more than hundred statistical releases that we put out around the labour market each year, we have a whole range of really detailed insights.
And we definitely encourage people to to dive in and and actually look at, you know, whether it's looking at through the lens of a two speed economy or looking at groups that are that are faring well.
groups that are struggling.
Um income is always challenging.
So Australians are really good at responding to surveys, but if you were to say what's one thing that they don't like answering questions about, they don't like answering questions about how much money they earn.

So we we do ask um in uh in a supplementary topic that we run off the Labour Force survey every year in the month of August, we do ask questions about how much people earn.
So from that you can you can get some insights that are um like uh the the other insights that we get from Labor Force statistics.
But you're right, administrative data, given um the amount of um information uh about what people are
Earning that goes through payroll systems, that goes through annual personal income tax returns, that's the the best source of information for really understanding with with a really kind of detailed granular view what people are earning and and how it changes over time.
Now you've still got information that we collect through surveys directly from employers.
So the wage price index would be a good example of that to understand underlying wage growth, average weekly earnings, we collect a bunch of information to
