Where does the product go to?
Okay, so they're pre-booked.
So we have partners in Avoca, Avoca Ireland.
This is their second year to come back and work with us.
They approached us because they were aware of the breed, first of all.
They were aware that they wanted a solely Irish wool in their product range.
For us, the partners are what make our mehal successful.
If we don't have somebody coming to us and saying, we need this wool, well then we don't have anywhere to go and sell other than into the traditional route, which is to Merchant, to Bradford, to China, 20 cent a kilo.
Your wool is worthless.
They keep telling us that.
I've seen so many designers here in Ireland link wool with sustainability.
Three pillars of sustainability, one of them is social inclusion.
How can you be sustainable if you haven't socially included the grower?
If you haven't acknowledged that this wool is being taken from the grower at cost, then finding its way into products on the international supply chain, I don't expect them to change overnight.
But maybe they could look to see what's happening in other European countries where the consumer is driving a need for transparency.
The consumer is saying, if I'm going to spend 120 euros on a blanket, I'd like to know where that wool came from.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's the same sheep.
Right.
