It was when I first ever touring gigs after being cast on Drag Race. It was before the show aired. I was at a place called Our Place in Seattle, Washington. And this guy came up to me and he just goes, I got to tell you, Bob, I love you.
I said, thank you. That's so sweet. Thank you. He goes, you know, you know what I love about you? I said, what is it? I'm just smiling. Big shit eating grin on my face. And I said, oh, he goes, for you, it's about the talent. I said, oh, thank you. He goes, you care about the artist, the performance. I said, thank you. That's very, very true. Then he goes, you don't care what you look like.
I was like, I'm sorry, what? You don't care. You don't care how you look. I was like, I feel like I put effort into my look today. Granted, this may not be the best I've ever looked, but that gagged me.
