It's all based on your skill level and you know you y you are at the top
point zero one percent of kayakers' skill level.
I mean the hardest thing I ever did solo was Inferno Canyon um on on the Food of the Foo and what did walk Zeta that day since I was by myself, but you know, in the throne room.
Uh so
I don't know how comparable that would be, but just, you know, but I I can understand being at that level.
It's like, you know, I can go do something like this by myself, but talk about the preparation both physically and mentally to be able to do something uh so challenging, so remote and to be solo.
You know, a lot of times I tell people in kayaking, especially when we're doing extreme white water
Yes, you're there with a crew, but ultimately it it's kind of this fine line between you have to have the skills to be able to do what's necessary to get yourself to the bottom of the rapid.
But then if something goes bad, it's also nice to have some buddies there who are equally as skilled who could help uh and vice versa.
But when you're there solo, it's really all upon yourself.
So if you could talk about the mental and physical side of that.
Interesting.
Well let's shift now away from perfect flow and you know if you paddle hard white water long enough, um there's some times when you get into some flood or bad situations.
Um but you're still here talking to us and um you know w we've all lost mates and we don't wanna, you know, go go down that road, but just maybe a f a crazy
gnarly story that was maybe not too fun at the time, but you know, you got back to the to the takeout and you're like, Man, that's gonna be a great story to tell one day on a podcast.
