I actually thought there would be lower scores on Sunday.
But when you saw the hop the golf ball is taking, that was a big first bounce for a lot of them.
But as always, there were so many exciting holes where I call it the feeder pins, you know, in those low areas where the players can use the slopes to bring the ball back or around.
to the Cups, and 11 of those hole locations were the same exact hole locations from last year.
Well, I'd love to see more Scheffler-McElroy pairings.
Obviously, having them from different continents, you'll see them play Ryder Cup matches against each other.
It would have been nice to see a Scheffler-McElroy pairing at the Masters.
And, you know, I know Rory has said publicly that Scottie's play has motivated Rory, and it has.
You know, I think if Scottie Scheffler hadn't dominated the last four years, I don't know if Rory would have...
been able to be up for that challenge because nobody was close to Rory.
And I look today at the world ranking points, the differential, and Scottie's very far ahead of Rory, but Rory's way ahead of third Cameron Young.
And, you know, you had a Masters that
You dream about when you had in the last four groups, you had the number one, number two, number three.
And Justin Rose was the number nine player in the world.
All of them would have telling stories.
If Rose had won at 45 years old, having come from, you know, losing in the playoff to McElroy last year, that would have been tremendous.
Scheffler had this sort of arithmetic progression of winning on the even years, similar to Arnold Palmer back then.
58, 60, 62 and 64.
So, I mean, there was so many storylines.
