Rory said afterwards he was so glad he came to that 18th hole with a two-shot lead, not a one-shot lead like he had last year when he played Rose.

And again, Rory provided more drama for us with that tee shot.

It was really closer to the 10th fairway than it was to the 18th fairway.

Got a heck of a break to have a full swing and a shot that he could fly up there.

CBS kind of

messed up a little bit on that shot.

They couldn't find the ball.

There was no tracer.

And for a while, nobody knew where it was.

I think there was a little panic there to figure out what was going on.

And Rory made a very, very difficult bunker shot look pretty simple.

That lie was terrible.

That lip is high.

If you don't get it far enough and it comes back to your feet, you're in big trouble.

And if you blast it out up onto the top,

That's a tough two-putt.

So Rory did some really cool stuff.

The up-and-down he made from the back of 16 green was very hard to get that ball as close as he did.

The chip on 17, which was not as easy, he's proud of that one.
