So I think there's a lot to do to kind of harmonize our industrial policies with our allies.
And they have to make some changes too.
Uh I think the Europeans are ridiculously obsessed with following a
super strict interpretation of what the WTO allows, which means that they won't uh do buy Europe on their uh EV subsidies inside Europe, uh, even though China clearly did buy China on its EV subsidies inside China.
They just didn't write it into the law.
They just never qualified a foreign-made car.
Actually initially never qualified a battery made in China by a foreign company.
That only
happened after the Chinese companies uh which now dominate global batteries got a good foothold.
China has been super restrictive.
And I think Europe should be symmetric, do a kind of buy Europe uh deal.
And my idea is that like, yeah, we have buy US, you have buy Europe, we will, you know, this is what I learned at USCR.
