Those are the things that I think are kind of the stickiest as we move into pro ball.

You can teach a guy to swing harder.

It's difficult to teach a guy to make more contact, and it's difficult to teach a guy to recognize spin.

If you have a lot of swing and miss in the zone or you're chasing a lot in college, chances are you're going to do that in the pros.

You know how one does.

I know it's your job.

I want to talk about that.

So Skeens does that, right?

He pulls up to this Little League on an off day, and he goes to watch a little bit of Little League ball, as one does, I guess, when you're Paul Skeens.

And he ends up kicking it with the kids and, like, hangs out for two hours.

And because the Pirates are occasionally a thunderstorm of PR ineptitude,

There was like a conspiracy theory bubbling in some parts of the media world the other day that was like, oh, this was staged.

Like, how did it get out so quickly?

And I made the point, if that was staged, would Paul Skeens have been in flip flops?

He would have been in closed toed shoes.

You wouldn't have seen his puppies poking out as he was kicking it with the kids like that to be showed that, you know, it was real.

And I also asked Paul about that.

He was like, yeah, I was bored.

And I was like, Livvy was out of town?

He was like, yeah, Livvy was out of town.
