But there are people who do it as adults as well.

Part of his interior life is, though, that he has started thinking a lot.

About his parents.
That's right.
He's come to this point in his life.
And often there might be something underlining in there.
That's right.
Why did that suggest itself to you?
There could be a little bit of ADHD where you have difficulty communicating between what you should share and what you actually share.
Spontaneous stuff, you know, all that.
So, yeah, I would say often as kids, we do do that to be accepted.
And we find ultimately the opposite happens.
We get rejected.
And that is the paradigm of the people pleaser, to be honest.
They try to give all of themselves to somebody who can give all of themselves to anybody.
They try to give all of themselves to somebody.
