And that's the exciting part is just to see how those pairings and how these young guys start to take steps here now.

Yeah, I think, honestly, I think the ideal situation, I just don't know that this, you know, I think Kevin Ball will be a number one guy or at least a number one pairing guy based on the matchups he gets.

I think there's a lot of flexibility in terms of how you're using the other two pairings, the way that it's set up right now.

So I wouldn't worry so much about the pairing, but I think...

I think he seemed to like playing with Zach Whitecloud, which is a little bit different from what we saw all year.

But near the end, playing on his offside, he's kind of a guy that moves around the ice pretty fluidly and doesn't necessarily stick.

in one spot anyway so i think just having a stabilizing presence like white cloud and um he's always there he's always in the right position i think it seemed to work really well so i wonder if they try that at the beginning and and less about like what pairing that would be and more the fact that it's just a guy that that he can rely on and knows is going to have his back when he wants

to make a move and get up ice and try to create something offensively which i think they're really going to encourage from him this year this is a team that just had a hard time scoring goals whether it was forward d or whatever it was like they need some points and they they need some guys to start creating a little bit more offensively and i think they're going to have to rely on on the blue line to help with some of that this year especially with

a guy like Rasmus Andersen not in the lineup.

So Parekh will get his power play minutes.

He'll get lots of opportunities there.

I think you probably start him with White Cloud and then Middleton.

You do have Yankus Netsov, who is a really good option.

I would say he'd probably fit more as a third-pairing guy, but he's a left-side, left-shot D-man.

So they have some options there.

You're definitely heavy on the right right now, but you definitely have some guys that can –

can move around and shift and I think you know Parekh is just one that you might just try with a couple of different guys and maybe he ends up with Kevin Ball at some point as a left shot but there's some options there and I think I think Parekh will just see a lot of offensive you know zone time a lot of a lot of offensive zone starts and obviously a lot of power play time too.

Yeah, I mean, I think when you look at the way their forwards are structured right now, there's been a lot of changes up there, too, and maybe not a lot of depth up the middle.

I think, you know, Michael Backlund is a guy that logs big minutes, heavy matchups, but he's probably still your third line centerman.

So you don't have the go to of for the last few years.
