First of all, you guys have to stop with this absurdism that to defund something, to decrease the funding of something, is the same thing as to abolish it.

When you want to abolish something, No, it's not to decrease.

Joe, we live in a country that defunds social services every year, that defunds... We have a government right now that is defunding health care every year.

Wait, it's about asking the question of whether or not we should continuously increase funding, an unprecedentedly high military budget, year after year, to an institution that literally fails its audits and can't even account for where the money is going.

It's very interesting, Piers, that you used two different words there.

Oh, I know what defund means a lot better than you do, Piers, as evidenced by the fact that you chose to pivot to abolish because you can discern a distinct difference between those two terms.
