Because I think you're absolutely right that these flows need to be synonymous with
trust to the consumer.
They need to be synonymous with when something goes wrong, I'm going to be made right and trust that the data is going to the right place and that they understand what they're doing.
So that's one thing that we are maniacal about in terms of how do we create those high trust experiences?
And that's just sort of like an overlay on everything, right?
So that's first and foremost, transparency, permissioning, et cetera.
Then the other, which I don't think is necessarily directly apparent to the consumer, but makes for a more trustful ecosystem more broadly, is what is the corpus of data that
everybody has access to to ensure that the right decisions are being made from a fraud prevention standpoint, from a risk reduction standpoint, right?
And I think we see that on two dimensions.
Initiating payments or...
Connecting an account before you initiate a real-time payment using open banking is better in almost all respects in terms of the data that you have access to.
Not only was it an actively authenticated experience that that user used their credentials to do, but then the amount of information that you're able to get about that account,
its balances, its details, identities associated with the accounts, behaviors associated with the account, you're able to make a much more informed risk-based decision.
When you compare that against legacy or other methodologies around account verification, that's just hugely powerful.
And that means that in general, everybody's making better decisions about risk.
And then finally, in the same theme, we are really focused on our network data, right?
Like how we talked about how over half American consumers have used Plaid.
We see a tremendous amount of behavior on our network.
We've spent a lot of time thinking through how can we bring our network data to our customers and to our partners.
financial institutions to help make better decisions as well.
