And uh Alex, uh I mean we've already noted that there might be some inconsistency with the the issues on the those amendment votes and and the Republicans who got elected, but but what did you see?

What stood out to you in seeing who got uh who got put forward as their party's nominees on the Kansas side?

Well and I think the the journey of those two candidates to their nomination couldn't ru be more different really.

Time Masterson early on claiming the endorsement of President Trump and really riding that to victory.

Cindy Holcher.

early on not getting the endorsement of the governor of her state, Laura Kelly, um who put a lot of eggs in in in the Ethan Corson basket and and and lost.

Wha what do you take from that?

I mean, wh how does that position Cindy Holster for the November election?

Uh let's switch over to the Missouri side, Matt.

Uh a lot of interesting results uh there, both from Democrats and Republicans.

Um, what did you take away?

which which just to pause there for a minute, that was the closest race of the night.

Uh um th and Jordan Herrera, who uh mentioned in his victory speech, he's he's openly gay, he's Latino.

Um to for him to be the moderate choice, that's a that's a moment for uh Missouri Democrats, I think, for him to be on the ballot.

And we should mention we're talking with Secretary Hoskins uh as well as representatives of the uh the group that supported that amendment, people not politicians, later in this hour, uh as well as Chris Stockall, who you mentioned will be joining us.

Um you know, Alex, I I guess taking a step back and and trying to to to sort of say what what does this all mean?

As you look to November, what are the narratives that you think uh you're gonna be watching most closely?
