Listen, sometimes you get the benefits of the doubt.
Go back to the very first game, the first 45 minutes, we were probably lucky that afternoon to get 1-0 down.
We managed to come out second half 1-2-1.
But then the other three games after that, probably the 0-0, that was a very tight game.
But I think we've been well dominant and well worth our last two wins against Motherwell.
That's what I mean.
You could wait and see what happens with the second leg of their in or their out, and then you could potentially announce it, but maybe their hand was forced to put it out.
I understand his points.
Obviously...
they're seven points right now behind Hearts if they lose to Celtic at the weekend and Hearts won they're then 10 points so they've clawed back three points I think the biggest bugbear for Rangers fans right now is they've came so close in these two games first games in the post split fixtures they lose at home to Motherwell they then lose a must-win game to Hearts and I understand the frustration from the Rangers fans because there was that bit of hope and sometimes it hope that kills you you're going to try and win the championship I
I said previous weeks ago that I think he deserves a pre-season, but listen, I understand where the Rangers fans are at right now.
They're angry they're not going to win the league, potentially.
There's a little bit of slimmer bit of hope, but I think they need Marvin Andrews believing to get that over the line.
So, for me, I think I still believe, I stand by what I said a few weeks ago, that I think he should get pre-season because...
he brought in good signings in the summer and unfortunately for him the left back who I think is a cracking player got injured and I understand your point there if he got injured after two minutes what would have happened we'd have had to put him on maybe he was told by this physio that he could get half an hour
he might have been put on there if things weren't going well to then come on and help the team, but I understand your frustration because he's a top player, I understand your frustration with the Mikey Moore one a couple of weeks ago, all these wee things they do add up and then the Rangers fans pull them up on it.
Even if you look at all the stats of the Monday night's game against Hearts, it was all in Rangers' favour and they still lost the game.
The problem is, John, with Rangers fans, they want success and because Rangers are such a big club in Scotland and it's not happened for a couple of years now and because they were so close to now, that's why everybody's so angry.
If the crowd turn, you've seen it with Russell Martin, if they go the way, it's not by the way, it's not where they are right now.
No, it's nowhere near it.
