obviously the Celtic fans are a bit restless because they wanted to know ASAP after the Scottish Cup final they wanted to know is Martin staying or is Martin going it's not happening so then it brings up these questions and then you start throwing names out who could be the next Celtic manager but Celtic I believe will know who it is Thank you to James let's speak to Brian who is a Falkirk fan that wants to speak to Brian former now former Falkirk player Brian how are you?

And a massive thank you from all Falkirk fans because I think the season you had with us it was quite clear the impact you had both on and off the pitch and particularly with Barney Stewart because it was quite evident if Barney was going off at half time you were right over at him you were giving him advice

Whether it was Groff, if he was being subbed, you were right at him at full time.

You were right at him giving him advice.

And I think we cannae play down the impact that you've had on that young man.

That's very kind of you I really appreciate that Brian thanks for phoning in Barnley's a young boy I had a lot of time for I tried to help him with the training pitch and he's alright I did go and speak to him because I think there was one game after he'd scored a lot of goals and there was one game he missed a couple of chances I was just over reminding him you're getting in the right positions don't worry about it all strikers get in the positions they miss chances bounce back keep putting yourself in the right areas and you'll score goals and I had a fantastic relationship with the boys his personality he's infectious he's a fantastic person and I hope he continues to do well for Falkirk I'm sure he will

I think it comes natural to me and if I'm being honest obviously when the news hit yesterday obviously I spoke to a few people at Falkirk and a lot of the players wished me well the manager gave me a nice message as well but I got a really nice message from a young boy called Colin Allen who's started the season already playing a lot of football he came on and scored that wonderful goal I think he got the goal of the season for Falkirk as well at the awards night

and it really touched me his message to me and I was quite taken aback by it so it was a really nice touch and I really appreciate your time tonight Brian you've come out of your way to come and thank me I had a fantastic year at your football club going and playing at the Premier League at 38 years of age and I loved it fantastic people all through the bottom of the club to the top of the club and fantastic changing room the fans were brilliant with me so I can't thank you enough I really enjoyed my time there

I seen a big difference when we drove the bus into Celtic Park on the first day of the post split fixtures Celtic Park was rocking the fans were waiting outside the noise for our team coming off the bus that day Celtic fans were right up for it in the stadium and we'd been to Celtic Park numerous occasions before that game Celtic Park was electric that day

And you just thought, wow, this is what this place is like when it's full of buzz and full of excitement.

And Celtic were very good on the day.

But that came because everybody that day was united.

I think that has to be the way for Celtic moving forward to get that success because I think you've seen all the anger throughout the course of the season.

It was having that unrest within the players because obviously then the Green Bay game were banned.

Celtic don't want that to continue into next season.
