It was a pensionable job.

was something that was respectable from my family, my friends, my peer group.

And I I'll never forget it because I started teaching in the UK.

So I qualified in the UK, did both Ireland and the UK, but I qualified there.

So my first teaching job was in London in the UK.

And I went into my first ever day of teaching, which was thirty seven year old children in front of me.

And I was about twenty minutes into it and I thought, I don't want to be a teacher.

I had spent I'd spent years and money and time and energy

Studying to become a teacher.

And 20 minutes in, I realized that this isn't what I wanted to do.

And the analogy that I've used in books on podcasts is that it felt like I spent years climbing the ladder only to realize it was against the wrong wall.

And what fitness coaching was, what fitness entrepreneurship was, was it was the ladder against the right wall.

And although I had to climb back down and it took me several years, and again, we can get into it or not, it took me several years because I didn't have the confidence to know what.

Else I wanted to do.

And it came from I wrote about this in the last fitness book or in the last mindset book.

Like I came home at Christmas and my mum was looking at me, wondering, like, you're not happy, you're not your usual bright, energetic self, what's going on?

I was like, look, I hate my job.

And she asked me a question that was the seed and which everything else grew for the next decade and a half.

She was like, What would you do for free?

And I said, Oh, I I would work in the gym for free.
