Yeah, so I was with, I had a contributor contract with MSNBC, now MSNOW, for about 18 months and, you know, decided that I wasn't,
using my time to be most effective because I think that the beauty of this space, the independent media space, is we have the ability to persuade people.
You have to make a very conscious decision to turn on MSNBC and leave it on and watch some of these shows.
And I think for persuadable folks out there,
the likelihood of them tuning in is probably going to be really low.
The likelihood of somebody stumbling upon a YouTube video, though, or a Facebook video or a Snapchat video or a TikTok video is much higher.
And so I view my role in this ecosystem as
focus solely on persuasion.
That is my job.
There are times where I'll get to twist the knife and shit on Trump because he does some stupid shit.
That's all well and good.
But what moves me, what gets me out of bed in the morning is being able
to hear from one or two people via email even if i've reached four million people that day five million people that day and then say you know i i voted for trump right or i hadn't voted before and i started watching your videos and now uh i'm gonna make sure to vote for xyz democratic candidate or i'm shocked that you're saying persuasion is yeah
No, I don't think I don't think I'm objective and I do think I'm biased.
And I think that's what people like.
Like, I have a very clear perspective and I want to see a world where we where we combat climate change.
I want to see a world where we have Medicare for all.
I want to see a world where we have full voting rights for people.
I want to see an expanded Supreme Court so that these things are actually protected.
So I have a very clear perspective and I think that's the difference.
