So we think it strikes an appropriate balance.
I think in this instance, and what we've generally taken in terms of obtaining debt from the parent is once the commission approves the authorization, unless it's the interest rate is set at a point in time, we generally don't
request any documentation.
I don't know if there even necessarily is any documentation similar to what you'd see if they went to CoBank or WIFR or a private institution.
There might be some kind of instrument between the regulated utility and the parent, but I don't recall ever having seen one.
I think that would probably be sufficient just to codify that the transaction did officially take place.
But the settlement agreement's already kind of built in the interest rate for the debt.
I don't see that changing as a result of any actual transaction between the regulated entity and the parent.
So, I think it's appropriate in this case because from my perspective, it's no different than we see
like an arizona water western group case when avid industries intervenes because they've got unique circumstances that they're dealing with or in like an aps or tep rate case when you've got different parties that intervene on behalf of their interests so i think it's it's fair maybe with a slight tweak to that and the fact that the other parties are generally like large customer
groups.
This was unique from the perspective in that it was two HOAs who were representing not only the HOAs, but the members they serve who are also customers.
I think what we probably need in the order and what we've seen in other cases when we were still at the point in time and Mr. Ross decided 35,000 is my recollection and somewhere in the neighborhood of 36, so we're pretty.
Pretty close in the ballpark.
I don't know as Mr Ross has said how much additional time sounds like we're going to need to do a little bit of massaging on the schedules.
That'll that'll take some time.
I think what's fair is, I don't know if 30 days would be sufficient after the open meeting to have all the final invoices processed.
Maybe 60 days would be a better length of time.
But just something filed with staff verifying final invoices, complete cost, and then if it's
I'm hesitating because we've already got quite a bit of work on our plate, but if it's easier for staff to take something before the commission to approve a final number, we can make that happen.
