So you can get a lot for a guy like Scooble.

And the pressure is going to be on Scott Harris, because if you trade a guy like that, you better get back a hole that changes the scope of your franchise, even though Scooble is a rental.

Yeah, I think it's fascinating, really.

And I was talking to an executive about this, but to me, the Toronto Blue Jays just encapsulate why teams think there are these long windows, right, of contention and, hey, we're going to be good for the next three to five years.

And then you see something like what happened with the Blue Jays.

They largely bring back that same group.

I know it wasn't everybody.

I know they lost Bo Bichette and some others, but they largely bring back that group that came this close to winning the World Series.

And, you know, they're just beset by injuries early on, never find their footing, never find like their identity.

I've heard guys talk a lot about how they don't have that identity this year.

And, you know, you look at Vlad Guerrero not hitting a home run in Toronto, literally everything that's gone wrong has gone wrong.

And I think when you look at teams and they are based off of these models, right?

Well, models only spit out one potential outcome.

And what you're seeing is, are the Blue Jays this bad?

Probably not.

If we were to start the season over and play again, they'd probably be a team that's in contention.

I don't think the Mets are as bad.

I don't think the Giants are as bad.
