The big X factor in all this are the workforce.
And what we keep encountering, including last week we're at a conference talking to so many, is these workers who spent all their lives being conditioned that information's hard to get, that people are a barrier, that systems are always in your way.
It feels like for AI to work, we need the workforce to switch from this mentality of holding on to information and being very protective to one where they actually understand that being open and having consolidated source of truth is important.
What else has your data shown about this kind of topic?
And when we talk about workflows that perhaps have been designed in an older mindset, procurement is one of these.
It's very governance focused.
There's a lot of rules in place.
Some people would say it's kinda clunky.
Like I go through procurement processes and I'm sure you do.
How can we release agents in these workflows in a way that would help deliver better results and redesign these classic workflows?
When I speak to senior leaders compared to the ones who are contributors, the senior leaders are starting to shift towards thinking about ROI.
They're getting a lot of pressure from above.
Yeah.
From shareholders and from industry.
It feels like ROI is going to be the big conversation over the next year, but it doesn't seem like there's any market wide agreement on how to measure the ROI of AI.
We ran around asking dozens of people and pretty much everyone was focused on the velocity rather than the better outcomes.
What measures do you recommend for measuring the ROI of AI?
You're obviously in a use case that's rather well protected, right?
Like the people who are in those seats, they're they're very specific about the type of tools they need.
