The front gate
when Bigelow had it was pretty much just a cattle gate, a cattle guard with, you know, a padlock around it.
So, you know, we contracted to get, you know, the front security gates that people have seen images of put in and working with Thomas and Jim Morse to be able to get the public right of way that actually ran through the property.
A lot of people don't know there was a public easement.
right away that ran through.
And when Bob Bigelow owned the place, he just shut it off illegally and kind of, you know, had his armed guards out there making sure people can't get on.
So we went about it the right way.
We got that easement taken and made it, you know, no more public access and things like that.
And then as time went on, you know, more and more interest came to be, and he invested more and more in the science of the place.
And, you know, my role as kind of just
you know, an advisor morphed more into, you know, head of security, as well as helping with, you know, the day to day operations on the ranch.
I guess my technical role is the head of security.
But, you know, I help with all sorts of things, you know, ranch associated with it's pretty much myself, Eric Bard and Tom Winterton that are kind of the brain trust along with Brandon that handled the day to day operations on the ranch.
He was always been a very driven individual, but look, the way that I describe Brandon, to me, he's the same 19-year-old kid.
And I've, because the way that he, you know, he's, he's old, he's extremely successful.
You know, he's a giant in his industry and has made an incredible name as well as, you know,
substantial estate for himself.
But to me, I always describe him as, you know, the most successful 17 year old kid that I know because, you know, he's so heart driven.
He does a lot of things on emotion and he likes to have fun.
You know, he's not one of those types of people that is strictly driven by, you know, money and wealth and everything like that.
