I enjoy the winter.

You know, it leads up to Christmas, but after we pass first of the year, I'm kind of ready to get back to spring again.

And if you're a lake person, you start counting the days to plug day if your lake, you know, drops the level so people can work on things during the winter.

So you start getting ready for that, and it's a lot of fun.

As I've mentioned before, we talk about some lake things, but it's not all about that.

Living on the lake, to me, is more of a state of mind.

It is, hey, just relax, chill out, everything's going to be all right, work through it, and there's no need to pitch a hissy fit.

That's kind of what I'm trying to adapt to now, and we're loving it.

We really are.

Speaking of that, as we head into spring, you start having the various shows.

You're going to have truck shows, camper shows.

I'll be honest.

I love those things.

I really do.

I love walking around and looking at things that I probably can't afford.

But you get all kinds of ideas, and it's kind of cool to see how they're doing all that.

Boat shows.

Matter of fact, we have one of those coming up.

And Russell Marine, who is a big sponsor of this program, will also be at the Birmingham Boat Show.

That's happening January 2nd through the 25th at the BJCC, and I definitely want to make that one.
