You know, in him we have the image of the of the Creator.
And so if you want to know what God is like, you gotta look at Jesus.
And in in some sense, God is invisible except for the person of Jesus.
And so if you want to know who God is, you look at
You look at God in the flesh, it is it is who God is.
It's not like God, it is God.
And so um he writes this beautiful, beautiful foreword that is almost worth the price of the book.
Um they're acquaintances, they're friends.
Uh Ken has a way of giving out icons to people of Jesus, and he's given one to Zahn and he mentions this iconography that he that he loves.
And then he says, you know, Ken, it doesn't work in uh writing icons, but he is an iconographer himself.
An icon of Jesus, a replica of Jesus, a pointer to Jesus.
This is what icons do when you read them carefully.
This is a poetic.
Portrait, he says, thankfully, this book does not join the ranks of the ubiquitous catalogs of Christian pragmatism in which we are told how to do this or that.
This book simply invites us to gaze upon the face of Christ until the miracle of intertransformation.
begins to occur.
Christ does the saving.
All we have to do is look upon him.
