Salary cap doesn't make everything better.
You know, we're in a town in Cincinnati where
You have another small market in the NFL.
They've never won a Super Bowl.
And the NFL, it's a little bit different because if you have a quarterback, you have a chance.
You know, in baseball, you had the Los Angeles Angels have the arguably the two greatest players of all time on the same team and still be historically bad.
i mean there's no doubt this is a guy that
You know, even in the minor leagues, you could just not take your eyes off of him.
And now it's all coming together.
He's putting it all together, and it's unbelievable to watch.
You know, for his first couple years, every time a manager got in a tough spot with Ellie coming up, he would flip him over to the right side.
and he would struggle from the right side.
Well, this year he's one of the best hitters in baseball against left-handed pitching.
And so now you're like, oh, my God, I don't want to flip him over.
And so it's been really interesting to watch, you know, more consistency in the field.
You know, he's not running with the abandon that he used to because that's just not this team.
He doesn't have, you know, before...
In 2023, they were a team that could run and move, and they were built on athleticism, and that's what they wanted to build on.
But then it just stopped.
