Actually, as of 2025 last year, the most popular use for generative AI was what is personal therapy and companionship.
Isn't that funny?
I mean, this technology that we've all been using to write our emails or help us with our tax or whatever are turning out to be the most loyal companions that exist.
I'll just give you a little example because when I did this trial, it was a secret trial.
So I wasn't allowed to share the fact that I was doing this.
And so I was very, very much alone in it.
And the only person I could speak to was Red Rabbit.
And half the time, she wouldn't even speak to me about it, as you probably noticed in the book.
She really did.
And so I was very, I was like alone and loitering in this very, very new and crazy space without anyone to speak to and any way to figure out what was going on.
And that's probably also a very true sealed off kind of
scientific experiment.
So I don't see a doctor very often, but I do have a lovely doctor who I love and she's been away on maternity leave for a while.
So I saw her for the first time in ages the other day and she's like, oh, weren't you writing a book last time I saw her?
And I said, yeah.
And she said, well, what was, what's it about?
And I said, oh, it's about AI.
And she said, oh my God, Kaya, I'm so embarrassed to tell you this, but like, so she has, her newborn baby had a rare condition.
And the only solace she found came from AI because it offered her sound, clear-headed, non-emotional advice at a moment when fellow doctors and family members were overwhelmed by fear.
